8 String "A" Mandolin. Using a Rocky Patel 20th Anniversary Cigar Box. Featuring a Oak Neck and Headstock with Padauk fretboard and trim. Using a slightly longer 16 in scale for a bit deeper tone. Has a pretty acoustic tone and there is a Piezo Rod pickup controlled by an onboard EQ that work great thru your amp. The action is nice and low with a Zero fret string set up. The nut is in place as a string guide only. A conventional Mandolin style tail piece is used with a hand made floating bridge.
